Their families have been notified.Sergeant First Class Yuval Dagan, 22, from Kfar Saba, served in the Golani Brigade. Dagan's funeral will be held Monday night in the military cemetery in Kfar Saba.Lieutenant General Dolev Keidar, "Gefen" commander, 38, from Modi'in was killed during the infiltration attempt into Israel early this morning. Keidar's funeral will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the military cemetery in Modi'in.Sergeant First Class Tal Yifrah, Golani Brigade, 22, from Rishon LeTzion. Yifrah was killed in clashes in Gaza early this morning. Yifrah's funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at the military cemetery in Rishon LeZion.Sergeant Nadav Goldmacher, 23, from Be'er Sheva, was also killed in Monday morning's infiltration attempt. He will be buried in the new cemetery in Be'er Sheva at 11:00 am Tuesday.Sergeant Major Beinisian Kshun, 39, from Netivot, North Gaza Division, was killed during the infiltration attempt. Twenty-five IDF soldiers and officers have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the operation.
The identities of all 25 are not known; however, five names of the thirteen soldiers killed in Gaza on Sunday were released earlier. Arab media reported on Monday night that a ceasefire in Gaza was imminent and could start as early as Tuesday.According to the Lebanese-based Al Mayadeen network, the ceasefire will be signed in Cairo, when Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal arrives there.According to the report, the agreement includes a long-term humanitarian ceasefire sponsored by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who will arrive in Israel on Tuesday.Under the agreement, the network reported, both sides will stop the fighting and agree on the lifting of the restrictions on Gaza. The IDF Spokesperson's Office stated Monday night that seven additional soldiers and officers have been killed in Gaza, as the fourteenth day of Operation Protective Edge draws to a close. Their families have been notified.Sergeant First Class Yuval Dagan, 22, from Kfar Saba, served in the Golani Brigade. Dagan's funeral will be held Monday night in the military cemetery in Kfar Saba.Lieutenant General Dolev Keidar, "Gefen" commander, 38, from Modi'in was killed during the infiltration attempt into Israel early this morning. Keidar's funeral will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the military cemetery in Modi'in.Sergeant First Class Tal Yifrah, Golani Brigade, 22, from Rishon LeTzion. Yifrah was killed in clashes in Gaza early this morning. Yifrah's funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at the military cemetery in Rishon LeZion.Sergeant Nadav Goldmacher, 23, from Be'er Sheva, was also killed in Monday morning's infiltration attempt. He will be buried in the new cemetery in Be'er Sheva at 11:00 am Tuesday.Sergeant Major Beinisian Kshun, 39, from Netivot, North Gaza Division, was killed during the infiltration attempt. Second Lieutenant Yuval Heymann, 21, of Efrat, was killed in the incident this morning in which terrorists infiltrated Israeli territory and fired anti-tank missiles at the soldiers. Uploaded sergeant rank of lieutenant - a year after his death.Sergeant First Class Jordan Ben Simon, 22, of Ashkelon, served in the Golani Brigade, and was killed in ground fighting.First Sgt. Death toll rises
Twenty-five IDF soldiers and officers have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of the operation.
The identities of all 25 are not known; however, five names of the thirteen soldiers killed in Gaza on Sunday were released earlier. They include Captain Tzafrir Bar-Or, a commander in the Golani Brigade, 32, of Holon; Major Zvi Kaplan, a commander in the Golani Brigade, 28, from Merav; Gilad Yaakobi, 21, of Kiryat Ono; Sergeant Oz Mendelovich, 21, from Avtalion; and Nissim Sean Carmeli, 21, of Ra'anana.Five additional IDF soldiers were killed between Thursday and Saturday, including, hy"d: Cadet Bar Rahav, 21, of Ramat Yishai; Sergeant Benaya Ruval, 20, of Holon; Col.Amotz Greenberg, 45, of Hod Hasharon; Sgt. Adar Bersano, 20, of Nahariya; and Sgt. Eitan Barak, 20, from Herzliya.

As international figures were on their way to the Middle East in the hope of negotiating a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made the rounds of television news shows explaining Israel's position in the wake of the continuing ground war in Gaza.Netanyahu appeared on three TV news channels - Sky News Arabic, Fox and NBC – and discussed some of Israel's recent military activity in Gaza."They [Hamas] have taken billions of dollars,” he told Sky Arabic. "Instead of building kindergartens with it, they're building tunnels, concrete tunnels to blow up our kindergartens.""They are the enemies of the Palestinians,” the Prime Minister said. “I can tell you that we opened up a hospital, a field hospital, a humanitarian field hospital on the edge of Gaza, and Hamas doesn't let the people come there. They're hiding rockets in hospitals; they're hiding arms in hospitals; they're shooting from hospitals. So they just don't care.”“I agreed now to three different calls for ceasefires,” Netanyahu added. “We kept them, even though Hamas kept firing and they violated every one of those ceasefire calls: the Egyptian ceasefire, the UN ceasefire, the Red Cross ceasefire.""We kept them, they broke them. The goal is to restore quiet and security for the people of Israel for a significant period of time and we'll take whatever action is necessary to achieve that goal.”Netanyahu made similar comments on the other channels as well.Netanyahu also described how Hamas used civilian buildings, such as hospitals, as bases to launch attacks from against Israel. The IDF on Monday released photos and videos that offered irrefutable proof that Hamas terrorists were indeed using civilian neighborhoods and facilities – including hospitals – to fire rockets at Israel. Netanyahu presented one of these photos in the interviews.The declassified photo posted on Twitter shows the locations of rockets and rocket launchers in the Shuja'iya neighborhood, placed on playgrounds, inside mosques and homes, and even in a cemetery. In addition, the photos show a missile launcher at the entrance to Al-Wafa Geriatric Hospital in the neighborhood.

In a recorded speech broadcast on Hamas television, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh on Monday announced that Hamas would not agree to a cease-fire unless Israel agreed to its terms.“Our resistance is bravely holding back the Zionist murderers,” Haniyeh said. “Our fighters are defending the Palestinian nation.”Haniyeh listed ten demands that Israel would have to agree to if it was interested in a cease-fire.The conditions include an “immediate end to Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza on land, in the air, and by sea;” an end to targeted elimination of Hamas terrorists; a cessation of the policy of destroying terrorists' houses; a halt to the flyovers by the Israel Air Force over Gaza; the reopening of land crossings, and the rehabilitation of the Gaza seaport; the free flow of goods into Gaza; a guaranteed supply of fuel and building materials; an end to “collective punishment” of Gazans; and continued supply of electricity.Both US Secretary of State John Kerry and UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon are on their way to the region and are likely to present frameworks for a cease-fire. Egypt on Monday said that it was willing to adjust its cease-fire proposal in order to get Hamas to agree to it. On Monday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that the operation in Gaza was likely to expand further.In his speech, Haniyeh said that his special units “were punishing the enemy, and attacking them over and over. We are striking at them underground and on the sea. The ground campaign by the enemy is an admission that their air war against us failed.”
