20  And Isaac was forty years old (A BIBLE GENERATION NUMBER=1967 + 40=2007+) when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
21  And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22  And the children (2 NATIONS IN HER-ISRAEL-ARABS) struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
23  And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels;(ISRAEL AND THE ARABS) and the one people shall be stronger than the other people;(ISRAEL STRONGER THAN ARABS) and the elder shall serve the younger.(LITERALLY ISRAEL THE YOUNGER RULES (ISSAC)(JACOB-LATER NAME CHANGED TO ISRAEL) OVER THE OLDER ARABS (ISHMAEL)(ESAU)

ISAIAH 28:14-19 (THIS IS THE 7 YR TREATY COVENANT OF DANIEL 9:27)
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Time for US to forsake peace efforts, New York Times says-Editorial argues Israelis and Palestinians lack determined, courageous leaders needed for an accord-By Times of Israel staff April 15, 2014, 2:17 pm

An editorial in Tuesday’s New York Times called on the US government to abandon its mediation efforts between Israelis and Palestinians and focus on “other major international challenges,” asserting that no amount of American pushing and shoving could succeed when the two sides were reluctant to make peace themselves. In the opinion piece, titled “In the Middle East, Time to Move On,” the paper stated that US President Barack Obama “made the right decision to give (peacemaking) a second try last summer” but said it had now become clear that the sides “are still unwilling to move on the core issues of the borders of a Palestinian state, the future of Jerusalem, the fate of Palestinian refugees and guarantees for Israel’s security.”In the current climate, the editorial reasoned, continued efforts were futile. It suggested that Washington outline its principles for a viable, lasting peace agreement — a Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with mutually agreed land swaps; an agreement that Jerusalem will be the capital of both nations — and then redirect its foreign policy efforts to other pressing global issues, such as the ongoing military tensions between Russia and Ukraine. While a peace deal was “essential for the security of both peoples,” the paper concluded, “To achieve one will require determined and courageous leaders and populations on both sides that demand an end to the occupation. Despite the commitment of the United States, there’s very little hope of that now.”US envoy Martin Indyk was set to return to Israel on Tuesday in a fresh bid to save the failing peace process. According to Palestinian sources another round of talks-about-talks was expected on Tuesday or Wednesday evening.Peace efforts suffered a new blow last week when Israel said it would freeze the transfer of duties it collects on the Palestinians’ behalf, in retaliation for the Palestinian Authority’s applications to join 15 UN and other international treaties in breach of previous understandings. The monthly 80 million euros ($111 million) in taxes collected by Israel represents about two-thirds of the PA’s income. Israel also reportedly plans to suspend its participation with the Palestinians in developing a gas field off the Gaza Strip and to put a cap on Palestinian deposits in its banks.Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, in a meeting with ambassadors posted in Tel Aviv on Sunday, blamed the Palestinians for the rapid deterioration in the peace process.“We were very close to an agreement with the Palestinians, a complex transaction which was being examined by the (Israeli) cabinet, but at the last moment the Palestinians broke their promises and submitted applications” to join international treaties, he charged.“We are ready to discuss and negotiate but we will not accept unilateral steps,” Lieberman said. The talks hit an impasse two weeks ago when Israel refused to release a group of Palestinian prisoners, objecting to freeing Israeli Arabs in the group and seeking the PA’s pledge to continue peace talks beyond a current April 29 deadline. The Palestinians then moved to join the 15 international treaties and conventions.AFP contributed to this report.

Iran equips destroyers with anti-ship missiles-Advanced Ghadir cruise systems installed on warships, Iran’s navy chief says-By Yifa Yaakov April 15, 2014, 6:34 am 1-The Times of Israel

Iran has outfitted its destroyers and warships with Ghadir cruise missiles, the country’s Fars news agency reported Monday.“Ghadir cruise missiles have been mounted on both Navy destroyers and missile-launching warships and they are also used as coast-to-sea missiles,” the news agency quoted the commander of Iran’s navy, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, as saying.According to Sayyari, the Ghadir missile is a surface-to-surface projectile which has a longer range than the country’s previous missile systems. It also has more destructive fire power and greater precision than other anti-ship systems mounted on Iranian destroyers, such as Nour and Qader.Speaking at a ceremony to inaugurate the newly-overhauled destroyer Bayandor in the major southern port of Bandar Abbas, Sayyari said Iran would use the missile mostly for coast-to-sea fire. The general said 76-mm and 46-mm artilleries had been mounted on the modernized destroyer, as well as other special systems.”“The 40-mm cannon mounted on the destroyer is also among advanced artilleries in air defense,” he said.On Sunday, Iran temporarily called off a plan to dispatch warships to the Atlantic Ocean, according to the country’s semi-official Fars news agency. The outlet quoted Sayyari as saying such changes of naval plans are routine, “considering the situation in the region.”Sayyari did not say why Iran changed the plan but said that “when piracy increases in the Gulf of Aden some changes will be applied in the assignments.”He said another fleet would be sent to the Atlantic Ocean in the future, but did not elaborate. Iran in January said it had launched two warships on a three-month voyage to the Atlantic to demonstrate the country’s ability to project power across the Middle East and beyond. The fleet consisted of a destroyer and a logistic helicopter carrier. The Islamic Republic considered the move as a response to US naval deployments near its own coastlines, Iran indicated. The US Navy’s 5th fleet is based in nearby Bahrain. In February, at the peak of the standoff, Sayyari said that a major naval building program was underway in Iran.“Different torpedo-launcher missiles, destroyers and submarines have been built or are being constructed by the Navy,” he told navy cadets in the northern city of Anzali, according to Fars news agency. The statement followed a number of signs over the past year that Iran is upgrading its navy as part of a program of military self-sufficiency, which could threaten American ships patrolling the Persian Gulf. Its navy maintains a presence in the Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, Caspian Sea, and other bodies of water. In September, Tehran deployed a Russian-made submarine in the Persian Gulf, one of the three Kilo-class submarines that Iran obtained in the early 1990s. A second submarine was refurbished and redeployed in May 2013.Also December, Iran redeployed two warships after refitting them with new anti-ship missiles. IRNA said the missile boats, Neizeh and Tabarzin, were equipped with Ghader and Noor anti-ship missile systems, with ranges of 200 kilometers and 120 kilometers respectively.Times of Israel staff and AP contributed to this report.
