26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold,(7X OR 7-DEGREES HOTTER) as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people,(ISRAEL) and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

MATTHEW 24:21-22,29
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened,(DAY LIGHT HOURS SHORTENED) there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake (ISRAELS SAKE) those days shall be shortened (Daylight hours shortened)(THE ASTEROID HITS EARTH HERE)

REVELATION 16:7-9
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

EZEKIEL 32:6-9
6  I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
7  And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
8  All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
9  I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.

REVELATION 16:3-7

Powerful 6.3 quake kills at least 20 in Afghanistan, hundreds injured By Mohammad Yunus Yawar-November 3, 20257:49 AM EST

    Summary
6.3 magnitude quake strikes near Mazar-e Sharif in northern Afghanistan
At least 20 killed and over 600 injured, officials say
    UN, India pledge support
    Power impacted across country
Part of Mazar's historic Blue Mosque damaged

KABUL, Nov 3 (Reuters) - A powerful 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck near the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e Sharif early on Monday, killing at least 20 people, injuring hundreds and damaging the city's historic Blue Mosque, authorities said, with the death toll likely to rise. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake hit at a depth of 28 km (17.4 miles) near Mazar-e Sharif, a city of around 523,000 people famous for its shrines and historic sites.Mohammad Rahim, a survivor in Tashqurghan district close to the quake's epicentre, said the earth shook violently for around 15 seconds."When we finally got outside, there was so much dust in the air that we couldn’t see anything," he told Reuters while standing in front of a collapsed building. His mother and brother, who were both trapped in the rubble, were eventually freed by rescue workers and other locals, he said.CASUALTIES REACH INTO HUNDREDS-At least 20 people were killed and 643 were injured, 25 of them seriously, according to preliminary figures from the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority."Our rescue and health teams have arrived in the area, and all nearby hospitals have been put on standby by the leadership to treat the injured," Health Ministry spokesperson Sharfat Zaman said.Footage released by the Afghan Ministry of Defence showed military rescue teams digging through rubble and pulling the body of a young girl from the dirt. Reuters was not able to independently verify the location and date of the images. The United Nations mission in Afghanistan said in a post on social media platform X it was on the ground supporting rescue efforts."We stand with the affected communities and will provide necessary support," the post said.India, which has been seeking to reset relations with the Taliban after severing diplomatic ties following their 2021 takeover of Afghanistan, also pledged support."Indian relief material for the earthquake impacted communities is being handed over today. Further supplies of medicines to reach soon," Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said in a post on X.BLUE MOSQUE-The earthquake damaged part of the Blue Mosque, considered one of the holiest sites in Afghanistan and believed to be the burial site of the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Mohammad, Balkh province spokesperson Haji Zaid said. The current structure was built in the 15th century.Footage shared on social media and verified by Reuters showed broken masonry and tiles lying in the courtyard of the mosque, though the main structure remained standing. The disaster is the latest challenge for war-torn Afghanistan's Taliban administration, already grappling with crises including an August quake that killed thousands in the east of the country, a sharp drop in foreign aid and mass deportations of Afghan refugees by neighbouring countries. The quake disrupted power across the country, including to the capital Kabul, national power supplier Da Afghanistan Breshna Company said in a statement.Aid group Save The Children said the latest earthquake added to the humanitarian burden on the country, arriving just before winter when temperatures can drop below freezing."As temperatures fall, thousands of children in the earthquake-devastated east of the country are facing the winter with only tents for protection from the rain and snow," said Samira Sayed Rahman, a programme development and advocacy director in the country."Now, families in the north are also experiencing fear and uncertainty after this latest powerful quake."Afghanistan is particularly vulnerable to quakes as it lies on two active faults that have the potential to rupture and cause extensive damage.More than 2,200 people were killed and thousands more injured after a quake and strong aftershocks hit the country at the end of August.Reporting by Mohammad Yunus Yawar in Kabul and Angela Christy in Bengaluru; Writing by Ariba Shahid, YP Rajesh and Alasdair Pal; Editing by Stephen Coates

Quake hits Afghanistan again in less than 3 months: Why it is so prone to earthquakes-Published Nov 03, 2025, 10:31 AM

MAZAR-E SHARIF, Afghanistan – A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck near the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e Sharif early on Nov 3, killing at least 20 people and injuring hundreds, just months after a quake and strong aftershocks in the country killed more than 2,200 people at the end of August. Here is a look at why the war-shattered South Asian country experiences frequent tremors, and how their impact can be reduced:Are earthquakes common in Afghanistan? Hemmed in by rugged mountains, Afghanistan is prone to a range of natural disasters, but its earthquakes cause the most fatalities, killing about 560 people on average each year and causing annual damages estimated at US$80 million (S$104 million).Studies indicate at least 355 earthquakes with a magnitude higher than 5.0 have hit Afghanistan since 1990. Why is Afghanistan prone to tremors? Afghanistan is located on the edge of the Eurasian tectonic plate, which shares a transgression zone with the Indian plate – implying the two may converge or brush past each other – and is also influenced by the Arabian plate to its south, creating one of the world’s most tectonically active regions. The northward movement of the Indian plate and its thrust against the Eurasian plate is usually responsible for Afghanistan’s numerous quakes.Which areas are vulnerable?Eastern and north-eastern Afghanistan, especially regions along the country’s borders with Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan, are particularly prone to earthquakes.

Fifteen people, mostly children, missing after floods in Indonesia's Papua, official says-By Reuters-November 3, 20254:47 AM EST

JAKARTA, Nov 3 (Reuters) - At least 15 people, mostly children, are missing and are likely to be dead after floods and landslides hit Indonesia's easternmost Papua region after torrential rain, a local official said on Monday.Thirteen of the victims were children aged between eight and 17 years old, Alfredo Agustinus Rumbiak, the police chief of the remote Nduga region, told Reuters. The children were heading home after playing volleyball and had attempted to cross a river when the floods happened, he said. They initially took refuge on some big rocks, but the current was too strong and they were swept away. Also, some rocks fell and buried them, Rumbiak said.Residents, police and military personnel, as well as the local disaster mitigation agency are continuing to search for the victims, Rumbiak said, but their efforts are being hampered by the difficult, mountainous terrain.Authorities need a helicopter to get to the location, or face an eight-hour trek from the nearest town, Rumbiak said. The rescue is also being complicated by the fact the area is categorised as a "red zone" in security terms, he added.Papuan separatists have fought for independence since Papua came under Indonesian control following Dutch rule in a vote overseen by the United Nations in 1969.Rumbiak said the location of the landslide was in the same area where a separatist group killed dozens of workers who built a bridge back in 2018.Reporting by Ananda Teresia; Editing by Sharon Singleton.

A year on, leader of Spain's Valencia region quits over deadly floods-By Eva Manez and David Latona-November 3, 20259:19 AM EST

Summary

Mazon admits mistakes over fatal flood handling
Criticises national government for disaster response
Uncertainty over potential election and Mazon's successor

VALENCIA, Spain Nov 3 (Reuters) - The leader of Spain's eastern Valencia region said on Monday he was stepping down under pressure over his handling of catastrophic floods a year ago that were the worst of their kind in Europe in over half a century.Carlos Mazon had faced repeated calls to resign and was heckled by victims' relatives at a memorial last week. The October 29, 2024 downpour killed 229 people and caused billions of euros in damage, mainly in suburbs south of Valencia, Spain's third-largest city. The floods sparked a lengthy blame game between the Socialist-run national government and the regional government run by the opposition conservative People's Party (PP)."I can't go on anymore," Mazon, told reporters. "I know I made mistakes, I admit it, and I know I'll have to live with them for the rest of my life."However, he excoriated what he termed an "egregious" lack of support from Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez' government due to political strategy, adding that it sought to add debts to Valencians' woes with loans for rebuilding work.Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo said the government provided 8.2 billion euros ($9.6 billion) in direct aid for Valencia's recovery to date. Mazon's resignation came too late and he should have called a snap regional election, he added.Mazon said no one foresaw the local river gorge would overflow, blaming national weather agency AEMET and the body regulating the regional hydrological network, overseen by Spain's Energy and Environment Ministry, for failing to adequately warn of the impending disaster. The ministry said in a statement both agencies had acted with technical rigour and provided essential data.Mazon said he did not request the central government to declare a national emergency - which would have put Madrid in charge of the response - because the PP party chief, opposition leader Alberto Nunez Feijoo, advised him not to.Feijoo said later on Monday it was up to Sanchez to declare a national emergency.POLITICAL FALLOUT-Residents of the affected areas accuse the regional government of issuing an alert too late after buildings were already under water and many people were drowning."He is still repeating lies and making it look like he's the victim," Rosa Alvarez, who heads the main association of flood victims, told SER radio station.Analyst Pablo Simon said Mazon's resignation was self-exculpatory, both politically and in terms of potential legal consequences.Historian Joan Esculies said the timing of Mazon's resignation had less to do with him personally and more because the PP feared the issue was hurting them politically in Valencia and at a national level. Polls show far-right Vox's anti-establishment messaging is resonating.Mazon is expected to be replaced by another PP-nominated leader, though this pick will need the backing of Vox, as the PP is 10 lawmakers short of a majority in the Valencia assembly. His successor could carry out the remaining legislative term until May 2027.($1 = 0.8575 euros) Reporting by David Latona, Jesús Calero, Joan Faus and Corina Pons; diting by Aislinn Laing and Andrew Cawthorne.
