SECOND ANGEL: The Middle East DR DOCTORIAN
Then Isawthat the second angel had a sickle in his hand, such asis used in harvesting. The second angelsaid, “Harvest time has come in Israel and the countries all the wayto Iran.” Isawthose countriesin a fewsplitseconds. “All of Turkey and those other countries that have refused me and refused my message of love shall hate each other and kill one another.” I saw the angel raise the sickle and come down on all the Middle East countries.I saw Iran, Persia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, all of Georgia – Iraq, Syria,Lebanon,Jordan, Israel, all of Asia Minor – full of blood. Isaw blood all over these countries. And I saw fire; nuclear weapons were used in many of those countries. Smoke rising from everywhere. Sudden destruction – men destroying one another. I heard these words, “Israel, Oh Israel, the great judgment has come.”The angel said, “The chosen, the church, the remnant, shall be purified. The Spirit of God shall prepare the children of God.” I saw fires rising to heaven. The angel said, “This is the final judgment My church shall be purified, protected and ready for the final day. Men will die from thirst. Watershall be scarce all over the Middle East. Rivers shall dry up, and men will fight for water in those countries.” The angelshowed me that the United Nationsshall be broken in pieces because of the crisisin the Middle East. There shall be no more United Nations. The angel with the sickle shall reap the harvest.

PSALMS 83:3-7
3 They (ARABS,MUSLIMS) have taken crafty counsel against thy people,(ISRAEL) and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they (MUSLIMS) have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:(TREATIES)

9 Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
10 Who perished at En Dor, Who became as refuse on the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 Who said, “Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession.”
13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind!
14 As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,
15 So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
17 Let them be [e]confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
18 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.

And here are the bounderies of the land that Israel will inherit either through war or peace or God in the future. God says its Israels land and only Israels land. They will have every inch God promised them of this land in the future.

Former Hamas leader calls for worldwide protests to support Palestinians-Turkey's Erdogan says Israel response is 'disproportionate,' Jordan's king calls for diplomacy-Thomson Reuters · Posted: Oct 11, 2023 10:22 AM EDT |

A large gathering of people in a demonstration is shown on an urban street.Former Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal called for protests across the Muslim world on Friday in support of the Palestinians and for the people of neighbouring countries to join the fight against Israel."[We must] head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world on Friday," Meshaal, who currently heads Hamas's diaspora office, said in a recorded statement sent to Reuters.Meshaal said the governments and people of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt have a bigger duty to support the Palestinians."Tribes of Jordan, sons of Jordan, brothers and sisters of Jordan … This is a moment of truth and the borders are close to you, you all know your responsibility," Meshaal said.Israel anxiously watches its northern border for warning signs of a wider regional war-Updated Israeli officials warn ground offensive into Gaza could happen soon, despite the risks-His rallying call came as Israel vowed to escalate its response to an attack by Hamas with a ground offensive, as Israeli fighter jets have struck hundreds of targets in Gaza City in recent days. The show of force came after the deadliest Palestinian militant attack in Israel's history, as Hamas gunmen from the Gaza Strip rampaged through parts of southern Israel on Saturday. At least 1,200 Israelis and 1,055 Palestinians have been killed, with Hamas believed to holding more than 100 people hostage.Meshaal became chief of Hamas in 1992 and survived an assassination attempt five years later when Mossad agents from Israel using Canadian passports poisoned him in Jordan. He stepped down as Hamas leader in 2012, and is now based in Qatar.Anger at Israeli embassy in JordanIt was not immediately clear if his call would be heeded, but an outpouring of anger in Jordan against Israel fuelled a large rally on Tuesday in downtown Amman, where several thousand protesters chanted slogans in support of Hamas.Jordan's King Abdullah said on Wednesday no peace was possible in the Middle East without the emergence of an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel."Our region will never be secure nor stable without achieving just and comprehensive peace on the basis of the two-state solution," the monarch said.Global economy braces for impact as Israel-Hamas war deepens-Outbreak of war between Hamas and Israel draws international concern, condemnation-King Abdullah has since the start of the latest conflict been engaged in a flurry of diplomatic efforts with Western and regional leaders urging swift action to de-escalate the situation, officials say.Officials said the monarch, whom U.S. President Joe Biden called, will voice the kingdom's concerns with U.S Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was headed to the Mideast. As Jordan shares a border with the West Bank, its position is sensitive."A Palestinian independent and sovereign state should be on June 4th, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and so that the cycles of killing, whose ultimate victims are innocent civilians, end," King Abdullah said.Amman lost the West Bank including East Jerusalem to Israel during the 1967 war. Jordan's peace treaty with Israel is unpopular among many Jordan citizens. The protesters who gathered Tuesday demanded the Jordanian government close the Israeli embassy in Amman and scrap the peace treaty. The Israeli embassy has long been a flashpoint of anti-Israel protests at times of turmoil in the Palestinian territories.Erdogan warns of 'massacre' in Gaza-In Muslim-majority Turkey, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Israel's blockade and bombing of Gaza was a disproportionate response. With Ankara offering to mediate, Erdogan and his foreign minister held calls with regional powers, the U.S. and others. However, Israel's envoy to Ankara has said it is too early to discuss mediation.A man in a suit and tie walks as dozens of people stand and applaud in a rounded chamber.Speaking to his ruling AK Party in parliament, Erdogan said even war had a "morality" but the flare-up since the weekend had "very severely" violated that."Preventing people meeting their most fundamental needs and bombing housing where civilians live — in short, conducting a conflict using every sort of shameful method — is not a war, it's a massacre," he said, referring to Israel cutting off electricity and water to Gaza and destroying infrastructure.Unlike the European Union, Canada and U.S., Ankara does not consider Hamas a terrorist organization, though it has been working to mend ties with Israel in recent times after years of animosity. With files from CBC News

Hamas videos seem to show how group burst through border to start murderous invasion-Footage shows drones bombing IDF observation posts and weapons systems at border, followed by blasts that destroyed parts of the fence-By Emanuel Fabian Today, 3:31 pm 0-OCT 8,23

A compilation of clips released by Hamas on Sunday showed how the terror group says it burst across the border and invaded southern Israel on Saturday, unleashing a vast, murderous attack, killing at least 600 civilians and soldiers, and kidnapping dozens more to the Gaza Strip. The clips, broadcast by Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV channel on Sunday afternoon, purport to show that Hamas first bombed Israeli military observation towers and weapons systems on the border using drones. The footage shows drones dropping explosive devices onto the IDF targets at the Gaza border.Next, the terror group fired hundreds of rockets at southern and central Israel, as terrorists on paragliders flew over the border.Moments later, Hamas approached the border fence, blew up holes in it using large explosive devices, and allowed hundreds of terrorists to infiltrate into Israel, many of them in trucks and motorcycles. (The fence was breached in numerous places, and remained porous long after the initial infiltration, enabling further large numbers to cross from Gaza.)-The terrorists then attacked Israeli army posts along the border, and nearby communities.A compilation of Hamas clips shows how the terror group invaded southern Israel yesterday. Moments later, Hamas… pic.twitter.com/D4iIoCV51q— Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian (@manniefabian) October 8, 2023-Hamas also attempted to infiltrate via the sea, but Navy forces repelled the attack, killing dozens of terrorists.Hundreds of gunmen infiltrated into Israel, some in pickup trucks, many heavily armed, in an onslaught experts have said was clearly carefully prepared. They swept through numerous towns, kibbutzim and moshavim, massacring hundreds of Israelis, holding many hostage inside Israel for hours, and abducting numerous Israeli civilians of all ages and soldiers to Gaza as hostages. The footage appears to underline the extent of Israel’s military and intelligence failures in the lead-up to the onslaught, with Israel having reopened the Erez border crossing into Gaza on September 28 despite ongoing riots and violence on the border, apparently assessing that the situation at the border was under control, and preferring not to continue to bar 17,000 Gazans with work permits from Israel.Hamas has said that young Palestinians organized the border protests in response to surging violence in the West Bank and alleged provocations in Jerusalem.Palestinians had also floated incendiary kites and balloons across the border into southern Israel, setting fire to farmland and unnerving Israeli civilian communities close to Gaza.On September 27, Defense Ministry Yoav Gallant had warned that Israel was prepared to step up actions against Gaza because of the border unrest.“We don’t want an escalation [in fighting] and are not looking for a fight, but if we get to the point where we need to act, let Operation Shield and Arrow be a reminder for all terror groups about the capabilities of [Israel’s] security apparatus,” Gallant said at a memorial marking 50 years since the Yom Kippur war. Shield and Arrow was a five-day Israeli offensive targeting the Islamic Jihad terror group in Gaza in May that saw a number of leaders of the group killed.“If Israeli civilians or soldiers are harmed, we will not hesitate to use everything in our power to ensure the safety of civilians and bring quiet back to the border,” Gallant said.Israeli military sources have confirmed that Islamic Jihad and other Gaza terror groups participated in Saturday’s Hamas-orchestrated invasion.

Explainer-What happened in Israel? The Hamas attack, its grim toll and what’s next-Israeli leaders have promised a large-scale war in response to the deadly assault, but it is too soon to tell how long the coming conflict will last or how wide-ranging it will be By JTA and ToI Staff Today, 3:30 pm 2-OCT 8,23

Saturday was a day of bloodshed unprecedented in Israel’s history.Beginning in the morning of a Jewish holiday, hundreds of terrorists broke through the barrier between Israel and Gaza and spread into more than 20 locations, killing 300 Israelis on the streets, in their homes and at an outdoor festival, taking some 100 hostage and injuring more than 1,800.In a country whose chronology is punctuated with wars, terror attacks, and military offensives, Saturday stood out in its horror. Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel, and Israelis are comparing the day to 9/11 — and asking how their vaunted military could have been so unprepared for such a major assault.Nearly a day after they invaded, the gunmen — sent by the terror group Hamas — appear to have been mostly but not entirely cleared out of Israeli territory. But the fighting is just beginning. While the day’s grim tally is not yet clear, a huge number of Israelis have been taken hostage in Gaza, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is promising an unmitigated war on Gaza, which has seen repeated rounds of conflict with Israel over the past 15 years.“Hamas has launched a cruel and evil war,” Netanyahu said in a televised address. “We will win this war, but it will carry a very heavy price. This is a difficult day for all of us.”Is this the worst Israel-Hamas fighting? Hamas, a Palestinian terror group, has launched attacks on Israeli civilians for decades and has governed the Gaza Strip for more than 15 years. During that time, it has launched barrages of missiles at Israeli cities on the Gaza border and beyond, sending residents fleeing for shelter, and Israel has responded with airstrikes and offensives that have killed thousands of Palestinians in the coastal strip.Israel launched ground invasions of Gaza in 2008 and 2014. The most recent major round of conflict between the two sides took place in 2021.But Hamas has never attacked Israel as it did on Saturday. While it has previously built a network of tunnels to infiltrate Israel, Saturday’s invasion was on a much larger scale. Terrorists broke through a barrier built by Israel, attacked by sea, and began killing people in 20 cities and towns. Makeshift bands of Israeli civilians battled the Hamas operatives while the Israeli military belatedly mobilized. The gunmen also took a large number of hostages back to Gaza, in addition to holding hostages in a kibbutz cafeteria and a private home in Israel. They captured two ambulances and an Israeli tank. They took control of the police station in the border city of Sderot for some 20 hours. They overran an Israeli military base.A portion of the violence, and many of the graphic videos circulating on social media, came from an all-night party near the border, where revelers fled Hamas, but where some were killed or taken captive in Gaza.Along with the ground invasion, Hamas sent volleys of missiles at targets across the country.By the next day, the official death toll had reached 500 — including many civilians and the commanders of the Israel Defense Forces’ Nahal Brigade and the Multidomain or “Ghost” Unit, among the most senior Israeli military officials to be killed in recent years. That is a stark contrast with the rocket fire which — due in part to Israeli warning and missile defense systems — has historically had a low civilian death toll. Saturday was one of the bloodiest days in the history of Israel. How has the IDF responded?Israeli-Palestinian violence has escalated all year, but the epicenter of that fighting has been in Jerusalem and the West Bank, not Gaza. A flareup of fighting between Hamas and Israel earlier this year ended after five days. But as the day progressed, it became clear that Hamas’s attack took Israel by surprise. Residents of the small cities and kibbutzim on the border, absent any help by the IDF, resorted to forming armed bands and attempting to clear out the Hamas fighters themselves. A senior local official was killed while trying to defend his town.A day after the attack started, it appeared the IDF had regained control over the area. But that was after 24 hours that included news no Israeli expected to hear: that Hamas had taken control of an army base and police station; that it had captured military and medical vehicles; and that it had taken hostages into Gaza. The invasion came as Israel’s government has been occupied with other matters, including a contentious effort to weaken the court system and a possible diplomatic accord with Saudi Arabia. The future of those initiatives is unclear. Instead, exactly 50 years after Israel was caught by surprise by the invasions that began the Yom Kippur War, the country was once again asking how this could have happened.“These days there’s no king in Israel,” Haaretz reporter Amir Tibon posted online, quoting a Bible verse meant to evoke a sense of disorder. “Take care of yourselves.”What will happen to the hostages? Does Israel negotiate for hostages?According to unconfirmed reports, 100 Israelis have been taken by Hamas and brought into Gaza. If that number, or anything near its magnitude, is accurate, it would be many more than the group has ever captured.Hamas kidnappings have, in the past, led to Israeli military operations and to at least one prisoner exchange. In 2006, Hamas took one soldier, Gilad Shalit, hostage. Israel sent troops into Gaza following his capture but was unable to recover him. Soon afterward, the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah took two other Israeli soldiers captive in an incident that launched the 2006 Lebanon War.Five years later, in 2011, Shalit was freed in an exchange with a controversial legacy: Nearly 1,000 Palestinian prisoners were released in return for the soldier. Indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas led to the deal.Three years after that, in 2014, some of the Palestinian prisoners released in the Shalit deal were involved in another kidnapping of Israelis — the abduction and subsequent murder of three Israeli teens in the West Bank. That incident led to the 2014 Gaza War, which saw Israel invade the territory and lasted 50 days.If Hamas has abducted 100 Israeli civilians and soldiers, it will be another element of Saturday’s violence with no precedent in history, though in 1976, Palestinian hijackers took more than 100 hostages at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Nearly all of those hostages were freed in a famous operation in which the only Israeli soldier to die was Yoni Netanyahu, the current prime minister’s brother. What will happen next? Little is clear except that Israel’s leaders have promised a large-scale war in Gaza.“The IDF will immediately activate all of its capabilities to destroy Hamas’s abilities,” Netanyahu said Saturday. “We will forcefully avenge this black day they have forced upon Israel and its citizens.”That almost certainly means a ground invasion of Gaza, which promises to bring more death and destruction. Israeli airstrikes on Gaza have already reportedly killed more than 200 people, and masses of reservists have been called up.It is too soon to tell how long the coming war will last or how wide-ranging it will be. The last ground invasion of Gaza, in 2014, lasted 50 days and ended with more than 70 Israelis and more than 2,100 Palestinians dead.To conduct the new campaign, centrist Yair Lapid, the leader of Israel’s parliamentary opposition, has called for Netanyahu to form an emergency government. Such an emergency government was also formed during the Six Day War in 1967.An emergency government including opposition parties would likely spell an end — or at least a significant pause — for the issue that until Saturday was causing widespread strife in Israel: the government’s judicial overhaul. A government with centrists would not approve such an overhaul, and it is less likely to move forward in the middle of a war. Protests against the overhaul have likewise been put on pause. What this means for Israel’s talks with Saudi Arabia is also unclear, but any deal between the two countries was meant to include Israeli concessions to the Palestinian Authority — something Israel would likely be less inclined to agree to while fighting in Gaza.“At this moment, I won’t address who is to blame or why we were surprised,” Lapid said in a video message. “This is not the time or the place. We will stand united against our enemies. Israel is at war.”

Relatives of dozens killed or kidnapped to Gaza from rave: ‘Nobody is helping us’ Distraught family members say they’ve been abandoned by the government as they search for the mostly young people still missing after Hamas terrorists attacked party-By ToI Staff Today, 1:13 pm 36-OCT 8,23

Distraught family members were desperately looking for their relatives on Sunday after an unknown number of young Israelis were massacred or kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas terrorists, with many saying they felt abandoned by the government.Thousands had attended the all-night rave Friday night near Kibbutz Re’im, close to the border, one of a number of sites attacked by terrorists who had infiltrated from the Gaza Strip in a devastating surprise assault.Social media was filled with horrifying videos of men, women and children being carried into the Strip, many of them appearing to have been abused. There were also videos published of dead Israelis taken, including soldiers. Many of the relatives said they felt abandoned by authorities, in an echo of the chilling whispered pleas from those who holed up in their homes on Saturday as terrorists roamed border communities near Gaza, slaughtering and kidnapping residents. The Israel Defense Forces said it had established a situation room to focus on putting together accurate information regarding the Israeli hostages. The head of the IDF Personnel Directorate, Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, appointed Lior Carmeli, a general in reserves, to head the team. The IDF said the team will compile a “situational picture” for locating the captives, both soldiers and civilians, adding that “Some families have already received messages about their loved ones.”Ora Kuperstein said her family was looking for her nephew, 21-year-old Bar, who was working at the party when he was kidnapped and taken to Gaza.Kuperstein said that the family was desperate and not getting any help from the authorities.“Nobody has told us anything. Nobody is helping us. It’s chaos,” she told Channel 12 news. “His parents know nothing.”“We will fight a war for those who were taken. Israel needs to stand up and fight and get them out of there,” Kuperstein said.“He worked [at the party] and arrived there on Friday evening,” she said. “From the videos we have seen he was next to the guards, who were the first to get shot.”“He had no weapon, they took him with other young people,” Kuperstein said, adding that Bar had gone to work because he was one of five siblings and his father was disabled and he wanted to financially contribute to his family.Channel 12 news reported Saturday that dozens of bodies were recovered from the scene. The remains were taken for identification, and desperate parents were among those who lined up at the missing person’s center that was set up near Ben Gurion Airport on Saturday evening. Relatives were told to bring items such as toothbrushes that could contain DNA.Family members also gathered at hospitals as they desperately searched for missing relatives.A man who gave his name as Nissim told Channel 12 that he was searching for his brother, who had been at the party.“Where is the government? Why is nobody helping us find them?” he shouted. The man said that the last message he received from his brother was “Nissim, help us. They shot us. I am bleeding.”During the interview, another desperate mother interjected that she was looking for her daughter Amit Buskila.“We have no state. I have been looking for my daughter for 27 hours and nobody is helping us,” Alin Atias cried.“There is no state, no government. They are not telling us anything. We don’t know what happened to her,” she said.“I am now going to the scene to try to find her. Nobody is helping us,” she said. “Where is the government?”“I beg the whole country. Help me find my daughter,” she cried. She turned to the camera and issued a personal plea to the prime minister.“Benjamin Netanyahu, I am begging you, send helicopters. Find her, I beg you, please,” she said.Moshe Or told news outlets that he had identified his brother Avinatan, and Avinatan’s girlfriend Noa Argamani, in a video published on Telegram showing the two being led by terrorists to Gaza.“I was worried and tried to call them, but his phone was not available and neither was hers. After a few hours, emergency services contacted us and told us that they saw a video of my brother and his girlfriend Noa taken hostage toward the Strip,” he said.Argamani’s distraught father Ya’akov told Channel 12 that he was heartbroken by the video and praying for her safe return.“I tried to contact her from the second we heard the [rocket] sirens,” he said.“After about an hour, Avinatan said in a WhatsApp message that everything was fine and wrote, ‘I will contact you later,'” Argamani said.“His answer didn’t seem right to me, why contact me later? So I decided that I would go to the hospital,” he said.“I went to one of the offices and was informed that she was not injured. While on the phone, her roommate contacted us, and said that there was a video of her on a motorcycle and she was kidnapped and taken to Gaza,” Argamami said. “I had hoped that he was wrong, that it was not true, and then in the emergency room, a guy approached me and told me there was a video if I wanted to see her.”“I asked to see and then I saw that it was definitely her. She was so scared, so frightened. I always protected her, and at this very moment I couldn’t,” he cried. “I pray that everyone will return.”The mother of Shani Louk, a German citizen, issued a heartbroken plea for any information on her daughter, who has been identified in a video from the Gaza Strip.“My daughter, Shani Nicole Louk, a German citizen, was kidnapped along with a group of tourists from Israel by the Palestinian Hamas,” her mother said, in German.“They sent us a video where I was able to definitely identify our daughter, unconscious, as Palestinians were driving her to Gaza,” she said. “I’m asking for any help with any new piece of information that we can be sent.”The short video ended with a photo of Louk’s German passport. The mother of Shani Louk, the woman whose body was seen on video in the back of a pick-up truck driven by Palestinian terrorists to Gaza, released a statement earlier today. She confirmed she had seen her daughter on the video & asked the public for help with more information pic.twitter.com/ LDcPsjGHP8— Visegrád 24 (@visegrad24) October 8, 2023-Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, hasn’t been heard from since 8:11 a.m. on Saturday, when he sent two messages to his parents: “I love you” and “I’m sorry.”At the time, Goldberg-Polin’s parents, Jon Polin and Rachel Goldberg, didn’t understand the cryptic message. They’d last seen Hersh the previous night, after he attended Simhat Torah holiday services with them at their local Jerusalem synagogue and then joined them for dinner with family friends.“He had a backpack and left at around 11 to join his friend,” said Polin, who didn’t know anything specific about his son’s plans. The family is religiously observant and doesn’t usually use phones on Shabbat, but after Polin came home early from synagogue Saturday morning, the two reached out to a good friend of their son’s who confirmed that Goldberg-Polin was at the party near Kibbutz Re’im.Within several hours, photos of handwritten lists began circulating on social media with the names of party attendees and the locations where some had escaped to, Polin says.“One list said Yishuv Saad, and his name was on that list, and then it was on the Ofakim list,” Polin says. “But he wasn’t at any of those places.”Friends were at the couple’s home all day, calling and checking with people they knew in each location, but Goldberg-Polin and his friend haven’t been found anywhere. They called hospitals in the south, including Soroka and Barzilay, without any success.A survivor of the massacre, named only as Liran, said the terrorists attacked the revelers as they tried to escape through an exit at the site.“It happened in an instant,” she told the Ynet news site. “The terrorists arrived on the right side of the road and then got out of a large white vehicle, a type of van. They shot from close range, it was terrible.”“Some got into the car like me and we started to drive like crazy. I can’t get in touch with many other people who were there. The families are trying to get to the site, it’s simply a nightmare.”

Hezbollah fires mortars at Israel; IDF strike hits tent on Lebanon border in response-Iran-backed terror group announces it targeted Israeli military sites in Mount Dov region in solidarity with Hamas attack on south; no reports of injuries-By Emanuel Fabian Today, 10:10 am 9-OCT 8,2

The Hezbollah terror group on Sunday morning launched mortar shells at Israeli military sites on the Lebanon border, as fighting continued in southern Israel in the wake of a major attack launched by the Palestinian Hamas terror group in the Gaza Strip.Hezbollah claimed to have fired dozens of rockets and shells at three Israeli positions in the contested Mount Dov region in solidarity with the Hamas attack. The Lebanese group said in a statement that the attack, using “large numbers of rockets and shells,” was in solidarity with the “Palestinian resistance.” It claimed the Israeli positions were directly hit.Footage posted to social media showed the moment one of the mortars hit an Israeli military site on the border. The Israel Defense Forces did not report any injuries, and said it responded with artillery fire toward the area of the launches and a drone strike against “Hezbollah infrastructure” in the area.According to a military source, the site targeted in the drone strike was a tent the terror group set up in Israeli territory months ago.Footage shows mortars fired from Lebanon landing in the Mount Dov area pic.twitter.com/qoVK9aEw3X — Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian (@manniefabian) October 8, 2023-There were no immediate reports of Lebanese casualties. The IDF later said it fired warning shots toward Hezbollah members who were attempting to rebuild the tent.Israel also launched a Patriot interceptor missile at a suspicious object approaching the northern border, which turned out to be a false alarm.“There is no threat to residents,” the IDF said following the scare. The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon said it was in contact with both sides “to contain the situation and avoid a more serious escalation.”“Our peacekeepers remain in their positions and on task. They continue to work, some from shelters for their safety,” UNIFIL said in a statement.“We urge everyone to exercise restraint and make use of UNIFIL’s liaison and coordination mechanisms to de-escalate to prevent a fast deterioration of the security situation,” it added.Hezbollah has largely sat out previous rounds of fighting between Israel and Palestinian terror groups, though it allowed local Palestinian factions to operate out of its territory in southern Lebanon.“The IDF has been taking preparational measures for this type of possibility and will continue to operate in all regions and at any time necessary to ensure the safety of the Israeli civilians,” the military said in a statement. In a press conference, Hashem Safi al-Din, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, threatened that the whole Islamic world would join the Hamas offensive if Israel and the US persist in their “foolishness.”The Iran-backed Hezbollah erected two tents in the Mount Dov area on the border some months ago, but later took one down and threatened to attack if Israel took steps to forcibly dismantle the other one.The tent remained in Israeli territory since early June, with Israel failing to have UNIFIL require Lebanon to dismantle it.Israel and Lebanon largely abide by the UN-recognized Blue Line. The line is marked with blue barrels along the border and in some areas is several meters from the Israeli fence, which is built entirely within Israeli territory.Tensions have remained high with Hezbollah in recent months, with the deployment of dozens of Hezbollah posts along the Lebanese border, including the tent, and increasing patrols and presence by terror group operatives in the area.Other recent incidents on the Lebanese border have included camouflaged Hezbollah members walking along the border in violation of a UN resolution, and Hezbollah activists crossing the Blue Line (though not the Israeli border fence) on numerous occasions, including attempts to damage the border fence and army surveillance equipment. The exchange of fire on the northern border came as Israel was fighting the Hamas terror group on the southern frontier. The Gaza-based terror group launched an unprecedented assault on Israel on Saturday morning, firing thousands of rockets and sending hundreds of gunmen into Israeli communities by land, sea and air, killing at least 500 people and injuring over 1,500.The multi-pronged attack, coming a day after Israel marked the 50th anniversary of the surprise invasion on Yom Kippur, caught the Israeli military and security forces completely by surprise.Hamas gunmen overran at least one military base and gunmen moved through Israeli border communities, killing and capturing residents, apparently with little resistance from Israeli forces, residents said.Other clips circulating online have purported to show Israeli civilians taken hostage by the terror group. Arabic media claimed 52 Israelis had been captured. Some of those captured appeared to have been killed. The Hamas-run health ministry in the Gaza Strip said 256 Palestinians were killed and another 1,800 were wounded as of Sunday morning. Most of those were apparently killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israel’s retaliatory strikes. The IDF said it killed hundreds of Palestinian terrorists in Israel and in strikes in the Gaza Strip.Agencies contributed to this report.

Forces continue to battle terrorists in Gaza border area after devastating assault-Death toll rises above 350, with 1,854 injured; IDF names 26 soldiers killed; many in south still holed up at home as military seeks to ‘stabilize situation,’ evacuate residents-By Michael Bachner, Emanuel Fabian and ToI Staff Today, 9:33 am 45-OCT 8,23

Israeli security forces made headway early Sunday toward regaining control of the towns and areas held by Hamas terrorists who infiltrated 24 hours earlier, as the country reeled from one of the darkest days in its history, which saw an unprecedented onslaught on the southern communities with over 350 killed, over 1,800 wounded and apparently dozens kidnapped and taken into the Gaza Strip. On Sunday morning, over 24 hours after the coordinated assault began, Israeli security forces were still struggling to clear terrorist cells entrenched within devastated communities. Many civilians were still holed up in their homes, hiding in fear of roving terrorists searching for victims, as troops dealt with some hostage-takers and stormed homes and facilities, shooting the Palestinian gunmen within. All known hostage situations, which saw Israeli civilians held captive by Hamas gunmen in their towns, were resolved overnight, with army and police forces killing terrorists and rescuing their captives after hours-long standoffs in Sderot, Ofakim and Kibbutz Be’eri, where full control was declared. However, gunfights were continuing in some communities, such as Kfar Aza, Re’im and likely Erez and Zikim as well. The Israeli Navy said it killed five Palestinian terrorists hiding on Zikim beach on Sunday morning, close to the border with the Gaza Strip.“In the last few hours, Navy control units identified five terrorists who were hiding in the Zikim area, in Israeli territory,” the military said.Footage published by the Israel Defense Forces showed sailors of the 916th Patrol Squadron opening fire at the suspects in the area. The Health Ministry said 1,854 people were injured, 19 of them in critical condition, 326 in serious condition, and 359 in moderate condition. A further 821 had light injuries, 20 suffered anxiety, and 223 were being medically assessed. The IDF on Sunday named 26 soldiers killed in the fighting since Saturday morning.IDF publishes the names of 26 soldiers killed in the fighting on the Gaza border pic.twitter.com/rmXdC6qp7H — Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian (@manniefabian) October 8, 2023-IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari told media on Sunday morning that the military was seeking to “stabilize the situation in the Gaza envelope” and that most incident locations had been “neutralized.”Hagari said that sweeps for terrorists were still being carried out in Sderot, Zikim, Re’im, and Sufa.As of Sunday morning, the IDF retook control at 29 locations, he said.“There are hundreds of dead terrorists. There are dozens of terrorists captured,” Hagari said.He added that in the coming hours, residents of communities close to the Gaza Strip will be evacuated.Hagari said that during the night “we gradually evacuated” residents from some of the communities where terrorists had infiltrated and that there are now “tens of thousands” of Israeli combat soldiers in the area. “Hundreds of thousands” of reservist soldiers have been called up.IDF airstrikes hit 426 targets in Gaza, he said, including tunnels, Hamas and Islamic Jihad infrastructure, and high-rise buildings housing Hamas assets. One hundred “immediate threats” were countered, he said, and hundreds of Hamas launch sites were bombed. Hundreds of tons of munitions were used in the strikes.Artillery strikes were to follow the aerial bombing, he said.In addition to the fight inside Israeli territory, Hagari said forces “keep attacking dozens of terrorists on the [border] fence.”A call center for missing soldiers will be opened.“There are commanders and soldiers who were killed in battles,” Hagari said.Further afield, he said the military was watching the northern areas, a reference to Lebanon, where the Hezbollah terror group is a constant threat. The warning was borne out shortly after the briefing, when mortars were fired over the border from Lebanon in an attack later claimed by Hezbollah.Footage shows mortars fired from Lebanon landing in the Mount Dov area pic.twitter.com/qoVK9aEw3X— Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian (@manniefabian) October 8, 2023-In addition, Hagari said forces have been readied in the West Bank and in the north.“We went through a very difficult day in the war,” Hagari said of Saturday’s events. “There were heroic actions by commanders, some of whom fell in combat. We still do not know the exact number of the abducted. We will know it in the next few hours.”He said the goals for the coming 12 hours are to fully gain control of the area around the Gaza Strip and kill any remaining terrorists in Israel. All Hamas government sites will be attacked, he said.Military reservists arrive near the border with Lebanon, northern Israel, October 7, 2023 (Ayal Margolin/Flash90)-Rocket attacks from Gaza persisted overnight toward southern communities, as the military conducted repeated strikes on what it said were Hamas targets in the Strip, with online footage showing a multi-story building collapsing in Gaza City, apparently the Al-Watan tower. In an assault of startling breadth, Hamas gunmen rolled into as many as 22 locations in southern Israel on Saturday morning, including towns and other communities as far as 15 miles (24 kilometers) from the Gaza border. In some places, they roamed for hours, gunning down civilians and soldiers as Israel’s military scrambled to muster a response. The Israel Defense Forces was engaged in a massive build-up of forces in preparation for a military response the country’s leaders vowed would be unprecedented, with the army carrying out strikes on terror targets across the Strip throughout the day. Gaza health officials said at least 230 were killed there, with hundreds wounded. The army said four divisions of reservists were being deployed to the Gaza border, joining 35 battalions that were already there.Early Sunday morning, Hebrew media reported that security forces had managed to rescue 48 civilians held captive for hours in the dining hall of Kibbutz Be’eri, and had killed around 10 Palestinian terrorists in a gun battle. Some Hebrew media reports said Israeli forces were still working to clear the kibbutz of terrorists and that exchanges of gunfire were being heard. Also overnight, Israeli forces stormed a home in Ofakim and rescued two Israelis, a couple in their 60s, who had been held captive in their own apartment for 16 hours.Reports said that four or five terrorists were killed, and that three special police officers from the Yamam unit were injured, including one seriously. The man and woman had been in “mortal fear,” Eyal Korem, the couple’s nephew, told the Maariv news site.“We observe Shabbat, and we found out about the incident when relatives arrived at my parents’ home and told them terrorists had infiltrated their home. We were in crazy anxiety, we started fearing that, God forbid, they had already been killed or harmed,” Korem said, adding that the couple was rescued in good health.
Wounded Israeli soldiers from the south arrive to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, October 7, 2023. (Noam Revkin Fenton/Flash90)-A short while later, Israeli police forces regained control of a Sderot police station where Palestinian terrorists who infiltrated from Gaza had been holed up, following an hours-long standoff. At least 10 terrorists were killed at that scene, police said.Border Police Commander Amir Cohen praised the Sderot operation, saying Israeli forces including Border Police anti-terror forces and military troops “acted throughout the last day with great courage and determination.”“We are in a difficult time,” said Cohen, “but now we raise our heads and continue to act with determination and… strength against any threat to provide security to the citizens.”Cohen said instructions were in place for residents of the area to stay indoors, not go outside and call emergency services if they need help.“There are large forces of police, Border Police and IDF and we will continue to provide ongoing security and respond to incidents quickly,” he said. The death toll from the day’s events continued to rise by the hour and as of Sunday morning stood at 300 people, many of them civilians slain in their homes and in the streets, as well as at a large outdoor rave targeted by the terrorists.Channel 12 news reported that dozens of bodies were removed from the site of the party near Kibbutz Re’im where people were massacred and others fled the scene in panic. The scenes of chaos that erupted there were some of the first and most disturbing images to be published amid the assault. Eyewitnesses said gunfire tore into the crowd even as hundreds of partygoers attempted to flee. Some hid for hours in woodland and orchards before being extracted by security forces. The bodies were being taken for the beginning of the process of identifying the victims.Meanwhile, a continuous stream of Palestinian photos and videos flooded social media depicting scenes of carnage from within the towns as well as harrowing footage of frightened men, women and children dragged from their homes to an uncertain fate in Gaza. The IDF confirmed that soldiers and civilians had been taken hostage but did not specify a number.Dozens of relatives of missing people streamed overnight to a center for missing persons operated by the police and the Home Front Command near the airport.Relatives were told to bring items like toothbrushes and other personal belongings of their missing loved ones to help provide DNA samples that could help identify whether they were among the dead.Police had called for families to contact the center with photos and DNA samples of missing persons. Those who are located in areas where they are not able to leave their homes were asked to call 105 with details and to go to a police station when possible. One father of a woman who has gone missing told Ynet: “There is nothing more to do, wait for a miracle from God.”The scenes of chaos and suffering and the prolonged failure to gain control of the situation shocked and outraged the nation, and sparked pointed questions and demands for answers on the many failures of intelligence, deployment and policy that had enabled such a national catastrophe, with hundreds of terrorists flooding civilian communities in armed convoys.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was at war, as he discussed the potential formation of an emergency government with leaders of the opposition but was said to refuse the latter’s demand to first boot far-right parties that currently make up his hard-right coalition. In an address to the nation at night, the premier vowed to use “all the power” of the IDF to destroy Hamas’s capabilities, and told Gaza’s residents to “get out now.”Calling the day’s events something “never before seen in Israel,” he promised to ensure “it will never happen again.”“Hamas wants to murder us all,” Netanyahu said, “murdering children and mothers in their homes, in their beds. It is an enemy that kidnaps elderly people, children, young girls,” an enemy “that massacres and slaughters our civilians, our children, who simply wanted to enjoy the holiday.”

EZEKIEL 38:17,3-6,1-23
17  Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,( ARABS) and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog,(NUCLEAR ATOMIC BOMB) and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
19  For in my jealousy and in the fire (atomic bomb) of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20  So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21  And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
22  And I will plead against him with pestilence (biological, chemical, nuclear) and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.(NUKED,THEN MIGRATING BIRDS EAT RUSSIA/ARAB/MUSLIMS FLESH)
23  Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Afghanistan earthquake death toll rises to 2,400 as Taliban rule hinders rescue efforts-Stuti Mishra-Mon, October 9, 2023 at 4:19 a.m. EDT

The number of deaths from the devastating earthquakes that struck Afghanistan have surged past 2,400 even as immediate international aid is yet to reach the country due to governments wary of dealing directly with the Taliban. In a press conference on Sunday, Janan Sayeeq, spokesman for the Taliban’s ministry of disasters, said the death toll from two 6.3-magnitude earthquakes had increased to 2,445, making it one of the deadliest earthquakes in the history of Afghanistan. Mr Sayeeq also revised down the number of injured to “more than 2,000”. Earlier, he had claimed 9,240 people had been injured in the tremors that struck the Herat province. While the world rushed to send aid after earthquakes rocked Syria, Turkey and Morocco this year and killed thousands, the Taliban official said “many are still trapped” under the rubble in Afghanistan days after the tremors struck one of the world’s poorest countries. The country is yet to receive an immediate global response due to the Taliban regime’s actions as well as international attention being drawn towards the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.Mr Sayeeq said the earthquakes “completely perished” several villages, apart from decimating 1,300 houses. The US Geological Survey said the quake’s epicentre was about 40km northwest of Herat. It was followed by three very strong aftershocks of magnitudes 6.3, 5.9 and 5.5, as well as lesser shocks.Almost 36 hours after the first earthquake hit Herat province, there have been no planes of aid flying in and no specialists on the ground. Activists said people have been left to dig through the debris themselves to rescue the injured. The International Rescue Committee warned that the lack of help and rescue equipment could push the death toll higher in western Afghanistan because trapped survivors cannot be freed.“There’s not much disaster management capacity and what there is can’t cover people on the ground,” said Salma Ben Aissa, the director for the international group’s Afghanistan mission said.“The numbers (of dead) are increasing hour by hour.”Ben Aissa’s colleague Jawed Niamati said Herat city is empty. People are sleeping in the open, on roadsides and in parks, as they fear more quakes. Temperatures drop to 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) at night, he said.People injured in the quake on Saturday have been unable to get the treatment they need because of Afghanistan’s poor medical infrastructure so they are losing their lives. A lack of food, shelter and clean water are increasing health risks among communities. The disaster comes just a year after an earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan in June 2022 and killed at least 1,000 people.Aid agencies and nongovernmental groups have appealed for the international community to come forward, but only a handful of countries, including Pakistan and China, have publicly offered support.Additional reporting by agencies
